A Milestone Moment: Inducted into the National Coalition of 100 Black Women
Some moments you feel before you can even put them into words. My induction into the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Prince William County Chapter was one of them. As part of a cohort of 12 women committed to service and advocacy, we started our journey as strangers — and ended this chapter as sisters of The Perfect Blend. Surrounded by the love, support, and guidance of our chapter leadership, it was a day I will carry with me always. And the village? They showed up. Family traveled from Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia to stand beside me in that moment — a reminder that purpose is sweeter when your people are in the room. This chapter of service and impact is just beginning, and I am ready for every bit of it.
