BAR TALKS PRESENTS

Pitch your Story

Thank you so much for reaching out and for your interest in telling a story with Bar Talks: A Lot’a Little Stories!

Our Storytelling Brunches are held once a quarter, and each show is built around a different theme. Our new season kicks off November 1, with the next brunch scheduled for February.

The upcoming themes are:

February 2027: First Dates — Let me tell you about it! Stories about the Good, the Bad and the Uglier side of First Dates.

May 2027: IKYL — Moments of Disbelief
Those moments that make you say, “I know you lying!” — unbelievable, unexpected, outrageous, funny, shocking, or just plain wild.

August 2027: Teachable Moments — A Lesson Learned. Stories about an experience that taught you something — about yourself, another person, relationships, work, family, life… anything.

You do not have to be a professional storyteller or come to me with a perfectly polished story. That’s part of the process. I work with storytellers to help identify the heart of the story, shape it, tighten it, and prepare it for the stage.

If you're interested, send me a short story pitch, just a paragraph or two telling me:

What happened? Why is this a story you want to tell? And which theme do you think it fits?

You don’t have to tell me every detail yet. I’m really looking for the heart of the story and whether it fits the show.

Once a storyteller is selected, we’ll connect for a workshop/check-in before the event so we can work through the story together.
